ReType Foundry is an independent type studio based in The Hague, founded in 2007 by Ramiro Espinoza and later joined by Paula Mastrangelo. Passionate about editorial design and Dutch typographic heritage, the studio has released acclaimed retail families like Guyot, Laski Sans, Medusa, Dulcinea, Krul, and Winco. Its fonts—ranging from elegant serif revivals to expressive scripts—are used in publications, branding, and even newspaper redesigns (e.g. Guyot for Handelsblatt). ReType also provides custom font design, lettering, and technical refinement for studios and agencies.
