​Lift Type is an independent type foundry based in Montpellier, France, founded in 2014 by Romain Oudin. The studio offers both retail and custom fonts, occasionally releasing limited-edition typefaces for special events. Notable typefaces include Ace (2016), inspired by tennis, Gustavo (2018), a geometric sans-serif, and Mint Grotesk (2020), a versatile grotesk family. Clients include Submarine Festival, Staatstheater Braunschweig, and Let’s Eat Grandma.
