Kyiv Type Foundry (KTF) is a type design studio founded in 2021 by Yevgeniy Anfalov and Oleś Gergun, working between Kyiv and Hannover. Merging Cyrillic heritage with contemporary design, KTF creates both retail and custom typefaces. Notable works include KTF Rublena, Prima, Compact, and the Metro Fonts revival—based on Kyiv’s original subway signage. Their typefaces have appeared in projects for the Kyiv Biennial, Maison Saint-Gervais, and OutSystems. In 2025, the Metro Fonts project received a Certificate of Excellence from the Tokyo Type Directors Club.
