Heavyweight is a Prague-based digital type foundry established in 2013 by Filip Matějíček and Jan Horčík. The name reflects their focus on simplicity, precision, and versatile design. Notable typefaces include Topol, their inaugural font inspired by poplar trees; Atlantic, known for its moderate x-height and calligraphic design; and Pano, a distinctive typeface recognized by Semplice. Heavyweight's fonts have been utilized by prominent institutions and brands, including The New York Times, Walker Art Center, Whitney Museum, Nike, MoMA (in collaboration with Hort Berlin), and Vogue. ​
