Founded in 2000 by Felix Braden, Floodfonts is an independent type foundry based in Cologne, Germany. Initially, Braden designed numerous free typefaces, some of which are available in the Adobe Creative Cloud. His commercial fonts are distributed by various platforms, including Monotype and Fontspring. Notably, his typeface FF Scuba was a winner in the Communication Arts Typography Annual 2013, and Kontiki (also known as Pulpo Rust) was nominated for the German Design Award in 2019.
